Education Ministry Digitalises Teachers’ and Schools’ Excellence Awards

The Federal Ministry of Education said it had digitalised the selection process for the 2026 President’s Teachers’ and Schools’ Excellence Awards. The ministry said the technology-based process is designed to improve transparency, accountability, record keeping and confidence in the selection of award recipients. Officials also highlighted innovation, mobility, artificial intelligence, inclusion and professional excellence as important themes for the development of teaching in Nigeria.
